Battleship is like chess for pirates! You and your opponent secretly hide your ships on a grid, hoping the other person doesn’t have a map or a magic eight ball to find them. It’s a nail-biting tug-of-war where you take turns shouting random coordinates, praying you don’t accidentally sink your own hopes and dreams. The first player to send their rival's fleet to Davy Jones' locker wins! It’s a wild mix of strategy, memory (good luck with that!), and a pinch of luck—kind of like trying to find the last slice of pizza at a party!
Setup: Place your fleet of ships on your grid. Ships can be placed horizontally or vertically but not diagonally. Gameplay: Take turns with the enemy to call out grid coordinates (e.g., B5) to try and hit each other’s ships. Hits and Misses: Mark hits and misses on your tracking grid. A hit means part of a ship is located at that coordinate; a miss means no ship is there. Winning: The game continues until one player sinks all of the opponent’s ships.
